Heinrich Rockstroh visits Bremerhaven

Did you hear about one of the most original publications of the AGK? It is the reprint of a book Heinrich Rockstroh wrote in 1810: "Die Kunst, mancherlei Gegenstände aus Papier zu formen" ("The art of forming various objects out of paper", AGK 2008, ISBN 978-3-87029-297-3). It is a facsimile reprint and transcription of the earliest known book with instructions about card model construction.

You can find more information about this project on our publications web page.

On the occasion of the 20th. International card modeling meeting, at the German Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven, Heinrich Rockstroh (alias Dieter Niervergelt) handed over the first copy to Dr. Siegfried Stölting, at the same time giving a very interesting and humorous review of 20 years of card modeling meetings under the management of Dr.Stölting. After the speech and presentation a small fireworks display was fogging the whole hall.
The complete, richly illustrated presentation is available for download as a PDF file (190 kB).
