Activities of our association

At least once a year a meeting takes place, connected with a general meeting of members, at varying places in Germany – and for the first time abroad in 2010.  In the members area pictures are available.

Our association isn't only engaged in 'old paper', but there may also be some 'action'.  For example the General Meeting 2004 at Mannheim did not only deal with the construction of models but also with their destruction, by performing a small 'tank battle'.

Members of the AGK are regularly representing the association at exhibitions as active modellers, showing that constructing paper models is in fact fun. In October 2008, the AGK attended the trade fair 'modell-hobby-spiel' at Leipzig for the first time with an own booth. You can get short impression of the event  here.

Every year, mostly on the last weekend of April, the  'Internationale Karton-Modellbau-Treffen' (international meeting of card modellers) takes place at Mannheim in the Technoseum. More info (German only) you will find at a special homepge. The meetings where foundet bei Dr. Siegfried Stölting at Bremerhaven in the 'Deutsche Schifffahrtsmuseum': see this page. This meeting already had its 20th anniversary in 2008.
