AGK - About our association

The main purpose of our association is to further the research of the history of card modeling. Accordingly, this determines the activity of our association. Are you interested in this field of research? Or do you want to know more about us and what we do? In that case we invite you to browse our web pages. Other activities of the AGK

  • What are we actually doing when working for the AGK?
  • The AGK's presence on the trade fair modell-hobby-spiel 2008 in Leipzig. We have also been there in every following year, with even greater public interest; it seems that card modeling is having a second wind.
  • Information for collectors about maintaining collections for research purposes (PDF, 18 kByte)
  • Lively regular participation at the annual "Internationales Kartonmodellbautreffen" (international meeting of card modelers) at the DSM in Bremerhaven (see our impressions from the 20th meeting in 2008: part 1 and part 2)
  • As a token of our gratitude for 20 wonderful meetings, at the 20th Internationales Kartonmodellbautreffen we have presented Dr. Stölting with the 1st copy of the reprint of "Heinrich Rockstroh" book in a humorous atmosphere; see the full text of the address with additional photos (PDF-Datei, 190 kbyte)
